ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - An area food panty is getting some needed money from the CARES Act.
Second Harvest Community Food Bank CEO Chad Higdon told KXCV/KRNW that they received nearly $360,000, which will help towards their goal of feeding the community.
Second Harvest serves more than 1,000 food pantries, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, domestic violence shelters and other meal sites across the state.
